Years of lineage training
3
Year intensive
I completed a three-year intensive at the Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and hold a diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine. I have passed the Pan-Canadian board examinations. I then began lineage training, now ten years combined, in Chinese herbal medicine, acupuncture, moxibustion, acupressure, energy medicine, Qigong and Ba Zi.
My teachers
My primary teacher across most of these disciplines is Dr. Suzanne Robidoux, PhD, a lineage holder in each of them. She holds a doctorate in acupuncture from Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine, spent twenty-four years in China and Taiwan, and studied Jing Fang, classical Chinese herbal medicine, directly with Dr. Feng Shilun and Dr. Hu Xishu in Beijing. I also trained in clinic with Sigong Stanley Ngui-Hon-Sang, 23rd generation holder of the Ngui family lineage, who taught me acupuncture, energy medicine and Qigong.
What I do with the chart
A reading begins with your Four Pillars, the chart of your birth. I read it for the nature you are working with, the themes that keep returning, and the timing you are standing in now.
I work with the chart and with the life around it: health, habits, the shape of ordinary days. The aim is that you leave clearer, and more at ease in your own timing.
People leave a reading knowing why certain themes keep returning, where this stretch of life will carry them, and how to move with it. An interactive report stays with you afterwards.

I can only wish I had found her sooner like way sooner, like at birth to be honest.

"I really thought a long time about how I would write this review and how to put all of it into words that will do it justice and all I can say is that I can only wish I had found her sooner like way sooner, like at birth to be honest. I've had the privilege to be able to get all of the services that Maria provides, from her BaZi readings which in and of themselves were already a huge medicine for me, naming several big issues and their causes in my life and helping me align myself more with the purpose of my life. To her personal coaching, in which she helped me organize my spiritual practice and gave me great steps to add to my routine. Maria was the first person who was able to give me the guidance that made me able to use my body to its fullest extent."
My Ba Zi reading was far more than just an interesting additional perspective.

"Having benefitted from astrological readings in multiple traditions, my Ba Zi reading was far more than just an interesting additional perspective. Maria led me through what every element, animal, and transitional period means for me in a holistic sense, offering acute and actionable advice on remediation, matters of health, wealth, and love, and how to best actualize my creative energy without becoming overburdened. Maria is an incredibly competent reader with over 10 years of training in classical Chinese medicine and metaphysics under multiple lineages, as well as the practical, everyday sorcerous skill to investigate ancestral attachments and blocks and spirit guides, making her readings accessible to seasoned astrologers and practitioners as well as beginners alike."
Her coaching program provided structure and meaningful change that positively impacted me overall.

"I have had the pleasure of working with Maria on two of her services, and I highly recommend her. Through the use of Ba Zi, Maria gains a holistic understanding of the various forces impacting your body, mind, and life. Her coaching program provided structure and meaningful change that positively impacted me overall. By making small but powerful adjustments, such as reintroducing discipline into old practices, incorporating daily movement, and improving my diet, sleep, and work habits, I was able to experience a greater sense of balance and energy. Additionally, Maria's expertise in Traditional Chinese Medicine and health intake assessments further enhanced the program. Her support helped me develop valuable tools that have brought more harmony to my life."
Her advice is thorough, her approach is comforting but direct, and her depth of knowledge is palpable.

"I booked a Bazi reading with Maria a few months before my 24th birthday moving into a 1st profection year. Maria was extremely thorough in explaining the symbolism of my Hour, Day, Month, and Year masters, along with their interactions, movements, and transformations later in life. She was able to transmute this classical symbolism into concrete information applicable to the modern age with ease and clarity. What I really appreciated is that Maria provided as many positives as negatives for each master, pointing out potential flaws with a very gentle but clear delivery, then focusing on the positives and how these negatives and positives can be two sides of the same coin. Maria also provided lots of advice on the Guardian of Destiny, cardinal directions beneficial to me, and various applicable TCM remedies and talismans that would help me achieve balance. Her advice is thorough, her approach is comforting but direct, and her depth of knowledge is palpable."
Maria's Ba Zi reading was deeply insightful and delivered with the kind of care that made me feel absolutely seen and heard.

"Maria's Ba Zi reading was deeply insightful and delivered with the kind of care that made me feel absolutely seen and heard. As a western astrologer, I'm quite choosy with who I get readings from, and Maria delivers so much value as she speaks from a place of deep experience and strong relationships with spirit. I've been fortunate enough to work with Maria for remediation work as well, and have seen things move noticeably since applying her advice. Whether you're newer to astrology or someone who's spent many years in study, Maria will get you closer to where you want to be. Her practical, results-driven way of working continues to help me move through life in better harmony with my own nature and the world around me."
The Monthly Bulletin
Once a month I write about the month that is coming: the nature of it, what it favours, where it asks more of you, and what belongs in it. There is a short teaching from the work as well.
You do not need to read charts to use it. If you already do, the deeper reading is there for you. One letter, once a month.
Begin the Work
If you feel ready to look at the patterns shaping your life, I would be glad to sit with you. A reading is a good place to begin.
